COMPETITION SITE: Armstrong Athletic Center @ Guilford College
 
COMPETITION DATE: June 22

DESCRIPTION: A one-night only event played under the lights at the home of the Guilford College Men's and Women's Lacrosse programs.  Players will be nominated to represent his/her respective regions (East-West) as one of the 25 best players selected to compete for each region battling it out for the Gold Medal.  The nominations must be received by the State Games office by May 19th, and the selection committee will notify players if they did or did not make the team the following week.  Each region will hold at least 2 practices prior to the event, and players must attend at least 1 of the practices.

FINALIST FEE: All players selected to the team will need to pay a $50 finalist fee.  Players will also receive a commemorative PowerAde State Games Jersey to be worn in-game that the player will also be able to keep.  All players will also receive a 2016 PowerAde State Games medal.  Participants also become eligible for applying for an educational scholarship through the NCAS Endowment Fund.

GENERAL INFORMATION: 
Athletes in the classes of 2018 and 2019 are the only ones eligible. Players MUST be nominated by his/her coach in order to be selected!
  
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: Any interested player must either get his/her coach to submit a nomination form to the State Games office using the online nomination form that is linked above.  Printable forms may also be scanned/emailed to poweradestategamesnc@ncsports.org.  They may also be mailed to 406 Blackwell Street, Suite 120, Durham, NC 27701.
